Here are some other places to visit...
Well, if you must go, here's a few places you might like to visit. Don't forget to shut the door and turn out the lights.
My Webprint- I'm doing my best to take over the wired world. Here are my efforts to date.
This is an article I wrote for the BBC Radio York website, called A Greener Way To Read just gently explaining that e-books don't just represent great value for money, cutting edge technology and an excellent sense of style and wit on the part of you, the reader, but they also prevent industry from belching sixteen hundred billion tons of disgusting gases into our sweet, sweet air. Not bad for a first book.
My Radio York Writer's Profile
Look - I'm on a proper website! This is me, as a Yorkshire writer, standing up and being county'd. Har har. The Radio York writers area is a good place where the professionals, the really-really-good-and-desperate-for-their-first-break writer and the amateur-with-a-twinkle-in-the-eye can all stand shoulder to shoulder and nick ideas from each others work. So go and poke your head round the door. There might still be some biscuits left.
No, not just an effective way of spying on your children but also a way of making lots of new friends without having to go to all those exhausting cocktail parties. Why not friend me! I also have a semi-regular blog which I use to keep people up to date, and to swat flies with.
My Friends - Here are the folk who either helped me to get accepted, were there for me when I wasn't, and those I've met along the way.
Butterfly Buckles is the website of extraordinary jewellery designer, Sarah Williams. Every single one of Sarah's beautiful buckles is uniquely tailored from genuine swarovski crystals.
The artistry and craftsmanship incorporated into each design make Sarah's buckles very reasonably priced and she ships to anywhere in the world.
Samhain are the wonderful people who finally recognised my genus, I mean genius and e-published my romcom, Reversing Over Liberace, in July last year, will be doing the same thing to Book Two, Slightly Foxed, on the 5th August this year, and taking Liberace to The Next Level by making it a real book which you can touch and lick and set fire to and everything.
And don't worry about missing the launch. I will keep you informed. Mostly by shouting in your ear.
"GO ON NOW, GO. WALK OUT THE DOOR..." <fade out>
Michael writes books. His book 'Homeland' is brilliant, and if you won't take my personal recommendation - then go have a look! This is his second book, and it is likewise a fantastic read.. anyway, what have you got against my personal recommendations anyway? If I say it's a good book, then it's a damn good book, now go away and read Michael's entire output. And stop bothering me.
You can buy both of these books at Samhain for the very reasonable price of $5.50 (that's about £2.50 in real money), which I think you will agree is a bargain. So, what are you waiting for? Go! Do it now! I'm waiting...
